The same booking page shape covers a one-to-one appointment, a group class, a scheduled tour and a service call. What changes is the capacity per slot, the length of the appointment and whether payment is taken at booking.
Guided tours, tastings, diving sessions and workshops. Set capacity per departure, close specific dates for weather or maintenance, and run a one-off pop-up date instead of a weekly schedule when the activity only happens once.
Beauty, wellness, legal, design and professional services. Appointment lengths of 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes, one customer per slot, and an intake question on the booking form when you need context before the appointment.
Fitness, training, lessons, demos and group events. Capacity is the sum of customers per time slot across the staff assigned to the page, so a class of eight is eight independent bookings against one slot rather than one group reservation.
Equipment pickup, showrooms, fittings and test drives. Locations carry their own timezone, and the location name travels with the appointment onto the merchant calendar and into the CSV and calendar exports.
Availability, capacity, payments, notifications and exports are part of the app. Nothing is redirected to an external scheduler and customers never create an account.
Weekly hours per booking page, date exceptions to close a holiday or replace the hours for one date, and a blackout range for a longer closure. The storefront picker only ever shows times that are genuinely bookable, and availability is re-checked at the moment of booking so a slot that filled while a customer was choosing is refused rather than oversold.
Each staff resource carries a full name, how many customers they can serve at once, the booking pages they are assigned to, an active flag, and a weekly schedule that either follows the service hours or the person's own working hours. Capacity is the sum of customers per time slot across the active assigned staff, so adding a person opens more slots.
Free booking confirms the appointment the moment a customer picks a slot. Paid booking holds the slot for about ten minutes with a live countdown, sends the linked variant to Shopify checkout, and confirms the appointment only when Shopify reports the order paid. Paid booking is on the Pro plan.
You refund the order in Shopify Admin and the app reacts to what Shopify sends. Refunding the whole appointment line cancels the appointment and puts the time back on the storefront calendar. Refunding part of the money while the line stands is recorded and the appointment stays confirmed. Cancelling the order does the same as a full refund. The app never moves money itself.
Week and day views with an hour axis, the appointment count and the booking timezone above the grid, and a detail dialog per appointment showing the customer, service, location, original time if it was moved, and cancellation time if it was cancelled. Phone and walk-in bookings can be created by hand on free booking pages.
Confirmation, reminder, follow-up and merchant alert messages each have an enable switch, a subject and a body, with a live preview and placeholders such as appointment time, customer email and the secure manage link. Customer emails carry single-use links so customers can reschedule or cancel themselves.
Twenty-six reference articles cover the screens you use most: setup, bookings, availability, staff, locations, storefront, notifications and privacy. These are the ones worth reading before you publish your first booking page.
What the setup wizard asks for, in order, and what has to be true before the publish button turns on.
How the booking widget replaces add-to-cart on the products you link. Free covers one bookable product; Pro covers up to 100.
What an active booking page is, what counts against your plan, and what happens when you move between plans.
The single theme editor switch the storefront booking button depends on, and why it does not follow you to a new theme.
Date exceptions for holidays and one-off closures, and the separate blackout range for a longer shutdown.
How slot capacity is calculated from staff, and the separate daily booking limit that caps a whole day.
What each mode changes on the storefront and in the admin, and what paid mode requires before it can be turned on.
The ten-minute slot hold, what has to match before an order becomes an appointment, and what happens when a customer walks away.
Which emails go out, what the customer can do without contacting you, and the limits on bookings tied to a Shopify order.
The four editable messages, their length limits, and the full list of placeholders the app substitutes at send time.
Every column in the bookings CSV, what the calendar file contains, and how your plan's history window applies.
The three Shopify compliance webhooks, what a customer redaction anonymizes, and what a shop redaction deletes.
Two plans. Every plan includes unlimited appointments. Capacity scales with active booking pages, staff resources, locations and bookable products.
What is a booking page? One published booking page that can feature the Shopify products your plan allows. Billing is handled by Shopify.
